Account Delete Request

The Account Delete Request feature allows users to initiate the process of permanently deleting their cloud account. This process is designed to be secure, transparent, and user-driven while ensuring that all dues are cleared and resources are responsibly decommissioned.

Accessing Account Deletion Settings

To manage your email notification preferences:

  • Log in to your Cloud Management Portal.

  • Navigate to Company > Profile from the left-hand navigation menu.

  • In the Profile section's sidebar, click on Account Delete Request.

Important Considerations Before Deletion

Before initiating the account deletion process, please ensure:

  • You have deleted all virtual machines, storage volumes, load balancers, and any other associated resources within your domain.

  • Your account is not actively bound to any compliance or contractual obligations.

  • You have reviewed and resolved any outstanding invoices or payments.

  • You have downloaded any important data or reports, as this action is irreversible.


Step-by-Step Guide to Request Account Deletion

Step 1: Resource Cleanup

  • Action: Delete all active resources associated with your account.

  • Why: This prevents resource orphaning and ensures no recurring charges after deletion.

Step 2: Initiate Account Deletion Request

  • Action: Click the “Request for account delete” button on the right side of the screen.

  • Outcome: An automated notification email will be sent to the system administrator.

Step 3: Invoice Generation

  • Action: Wait for the admin to generate your final invoice.

  • Outcome: The invoice will be made available on your

  • Invoices page within the portal.

Step 4: Review and Pay Final Invoice

  • Action: Access your invoice, verify charges, and complete the payment using available payment methods.

Step 5: Confirm and Complete Account Deletion

  • Action: After successful payment, return to the Account Delete Request section and click the final “Delete Account” button (if visible).

  • Outcome: Your account will be permanently removed from the platform.


Security and Compliance

The deletion process is performed in accordance with security and compliance standards, ensuring:

  • No residual data remains in the system post-deletion.

  • Invoices and logs remain accessible to admins for auditing purposes.

  • Personal data is handled in compliance with relevant data protection laws.
